The response to Berendsen’s new chrome plating facility has been tremendous and we are grateful to all the customers who have backed our new venture.

A recent highlight was the commissioning of an additional 7000lt Chromic acid bath. This is one of several upgrades that will roll out over the next few months to increase the capacity and efficiency of the new facility, and to offer a wider range of services with even quicker job turnaround times.

We are extremely proud of our team who have been outstanding since our new, modern facility opened its doors six months ago, allowing us to expand our in-house capabilities across a range of services including hard chrome plating, surface engineering, cylindrical grinding, linishing and general machining.

We are able to specialise in the resurfacing of hydraulic piston rods and have the capacity to repair rods up to 4 meters in length and 600mm maximum diameter. We also have the capacity to provide customised hard chrome plating solutions to suit customer requirements.

Our chrome plating plant is state-of-the-art, maintaining optimal bath chemistry, temperature and current density to produce uniform, dense hard-chrome deposits with maximum efficiency. With consistent turnaround and high quality results, we are able to cater for both large and small scale customers.

This latest venture allows Berendsen to come one step closer to accomplishing our mission to provide an unmatched, end-to-end range of hydraulic engineering, manufacturing, repair and maintenance services to our customers.

As our capabilities in hard chroming continue to expand and develop, please email us with any chrome plating enquiries.
