Berendsen has recently invested in a new sulphamate nickel plating tank for their hard chrome plating plant in Kings Park.

At Berendsen we are continuously expanding the scope of services that we provide for users of hydraulic equipment. Most recently, we initiated a project to design and build a sulphamate nickel plating tank at our hard chrome plating plant in Kings Park.

Sulphamate nickel plating is used in conjunction with hard chrome plating to provide a durable, wear resistant and corrosion resistant surface suitable for damp saline environments such as underground coal mines. Due to the efficiency of the plating process nickel-chrome plating is also an economical option in situations where heavy build-up is required.
With the new tank successfully commissioned in Feb 2019 the nickel plating line is now in full production.
