Lubrication Unit Design & Manufacture
Description
Berendsen Fluid Power is your one-stop shop for lubrication system design, manufacture and servicing of lubrication units. Our lubrication units are engineered for harsh fixed plant environments, with reliability, maintainability and local support built in from day one.
The lubrication units we produce and service are suitable for a range of fixed plant applications including ball mills, jaw crushers, cone mills, SAG mills, rotary filters, calcinators and thickeners.
Lubrication system design backed by in-house engineering
Berendsen’s engineering and technical team designs lubrication units that match your equipment, operating conditions and site requirements. Whether you are replacing an ageing lube skid, standardising across sites, or supporting a new build, we develop practical designs that reduce risk and deliver consistent lubrication performance.
Design & Manufacture
Berendsen Fluid Power custom design and manufacture lubrication units to your specifications and deliver in the shortest lead times possible. We manufacture in accordance with stringent quality standards at our ISO:9001 certified workshops and provide a comprehensive warranty on all manufactured products. We perform testing and painting in-house to expedite production and welcome customer milestone reviews throughout the entire build process. Berendsen Fluid Power uses only the highest quality, locally available components from leading hydraulic brands in the manufacture of our lubrication units.
Lubrication System Design Features
Every project starts with your functional requirements and site constraints. We then engineer a lubrication unit that is built for performance and easy ongoing maintenance.
- Component selection to suit duty cycle, temperature profile and environment
- Flow, pressure and distribution design matched to your lubrication points
- Filtration selection to support target cleanliness and component life
- Reservoir sizing, access and serviceability considerations
- Instrumentation, monitoring points and practical diagnostics access
- Layouts designed for easier troubleshooting and spare parts support
Quality manufacturing, rapid turnaround, local control
To keep lead times tight and quality consistent, we maintain local control of key steps in the build process.
- ISO:9001 certified manufacturing with stringent quality controls
- In-house testing to design specifications, with test certification issued per build
- In-house painting to streamline production and reduce delays
- Customer milestone reviews available throughout the build process
Servicing, diagnostics and shutdown support
A lubrication unit is only as good as the support behind it. Berendsen provides ongoing servicing for lubrication units, including testing and diagnostics, overhauls, maintenance, and shutdown servicing. If you need support on-site, our teams can assist with fixed plant lubrication system maintenance and reliability work (site and application dependent).
Our process
- Scoping and requirements capture – equipment, duty cycle, environment and constraints
- Lubrication system design – layout, component selection, serviceability and compliance considerations
- Manufacture and build – ISO:9001 workshop production
- Testing and certification – in-house testing to design specifications
- Delivery and ongoing support – servicing, diagnostics and shutdown support
What our customers say about us…
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for your assistance on Friday the 20th of March and over the subsequent weekend. Your prompt assistance allowed for completion and testing of the hydraulics to enable the use of the four 220mm bore support legs, this was a crucial step in the process we are undertaking to recover our Longwall.
The Longwall is currently in an Iron bound state with the Shearer trapped under the roof supports. These legs are supporting the canopy tips assisting in preventing further damage to the Shearer. They will also be used during the support recovery process.
Berendsen’s efforts in fast tracking these cylinders is recognised and greatly appreciated.”
